23.5 Degrees opens 90th Starbucks

Starbucks’ first UK franchised business partner opened its 90th store recently in Blaydon, Gateshead. The opening is part of an ambitious expansion programme for 23.5 Degrees, which plans to reach 300 stores by 2027.

Mark Hepburn, managing director of 23.5 Degrees, said: ”In just over nine years we have built this company one store at a time. We could not have achieved our success without our investors, contractors and Starbucks itself. 

“Most importantly, I’d like to thank our partners who have delivered day in, day out to ensure we continue to serve our customers and build the business.”

The company opened its first Starbucks store in Liphook, Hampshire, in February 2013. It is currently actively seeking both freehold and leasehold drive-through opportunities on main arterial routes, close to major retail destinations or on large industrial estates.
