Boxpark unveils new Boxhall City food hall concept
BOXHALL City is a new elevated food hall concept from BOXPARK, set to open with 13 F&B brands

BOXHALL City has announced its full line-up of kitchens and concepts ahead of its opening, which has been confirmed as Thursday 10 April.
It will be an all-day dining experience, bringing together a wide choice of independents and global cuisines spanning emerging culinary talent and established favourites, alongside a meticulously curated wine & cocktail offering, within the magnificently restored Metropolitan Arcade on Liverpool Street.
BOXHALL City marks BOXPARK's first venue under the new brand.
The line up includes:
- Sourdough Sophia – An independent bakery that will offer high quality and sustainable baked goods including freshly baked breads, pastries and speciality coffees.
- Club Mexicana – Revolutionary plant-based Mexican street food restaurant.
- Baked Bird – BOXHALL City marks the first physical location for this award-winning baked chicken concept.
- Farzi – A fine dining restaurant combining traditional Indian cuisine with British seasonal ingredients, already established in the St James’s area.
- Burger & Beyond – Indulgent dry-aged burgers and signature sides.
- Nativo – A Japanese-Latin fusion restaurant, with current sites in Elephant & Castle and Peckham.
- Gaucho – Gaucho brings a brand new concept from the team behind the nation’s favourite Argentinian steak restaurant, Gaucho Go. They bring a menu that’s inspired by the flavours of Argentina and Latin America, featuring their signature steak and chips, juicy burgers, and new dishes such as a spin on the classic hot dog.
- Eggslut – A chef-driven gourmet food concept known for its indulgent egg-based all-day brunch dishes.
- Inamo Sukoshi – Knockout sushi & fusion street food, with influences from across Asia, serving favourites including signature Dragon Rolls, and mouth-watering Korean BBQ Ribs, with a new Chicken Katsu Curry, & more!
- Little Bao Boy – Little Bao Boy’s BOXHALL City kitchen will be its first site outside of the North, serving homemade bao buns and Asian dishes with a Western twist.
- Old Chang Kee – A Singaporean street food restaurant. Its curry puffs have been labelled “the best pastry in London” by The Sunday Times.
- Soft Serve Society – Dessert parlour, famed for its matcha and charcoal coconut soft serve ice creams and sundaes.
- Boki Coffee – An independent all-day coffee shop with sites in Aldgate and Wembley, which recently celebrated 10 years of trading.
BOXHALL City will also feature a dedicated Kitchen space (Kitchen No.8), designed to be a platform for culinary talent to test new ideas, which will see a rotating line-up of chefs throughout the year bringing diners innovative new creations. As well as being home to 13 food concepts, it will also feature a signature rooftop bar, which is set to open later in the year.
A month to go
Matt Snell, CEO of BOXPARK, said: “With only a month to go until we open BOXHALL City, we are all hugely excited for the next step in BOXPARK’s journey. We’re delighted to welcome 13 exceptional dining experiences to take space at this beautifully restored arcade, as well as providing a platform for the latest culinary talent to test new ideas. This mix of food and drink brands, the chef-led kitchen and heritage venue has resulted in the creation of an exciting new destination, unlike anything we’ve done before.
“From baker Sourdough Sophia, who started baking from her dining room as a way to support and connect with the local community, to Club Mexicana, whose founder has a clear mission to change perceptions of plant-based food. BOXHALL City will provide the City with a new all-day offer and a destination to enjoy delicious cuisines from across the globe.”
