Knoops to open in Oxford

Knoops will open its seventh store in Oxford on 11th February. Following the launch of two new stores in Brighton and Richmond last year, the brand has chosen the historic city as its next destination with the aim of appealing to the student, tourist and local population.

Visitors will be able to choose from the full range of chocolate percentages for their bespoke hot or cold chocolate experiences. There are 20 different types to select, from a sweet, creamy 28% white all the way up to the deep, rich cocoa flavour of the 100% extra dark from the Solomon Islands.

Knoops also has a diverse plant-based offering. All of the chocolates that are 54% and over are suitable for vegans and there are also six non-dairy milks available.

Alongside the drinks offering, the new store will stock a range of baked goods sourced fresh from Gatineau. The well-known Oxford artisan bakery will provide its famous pastries.

Founder Jens Knoop said: “Oxford is a city drenched in history and natural beauty. We are excited to provide visitors, locals and students with a comforting space to visit, or a place to pick up a delicious hot or cold chocolate drink to add to their wonderful memories while exploring the city.“
