German Doner Kebab have launched their new GDK Doner Rice Bowl as they met customer demand and appetite for healthier lunches

Premium QSR brand German Doner Kebab (GDK) has leaned into the industry shift towards health and wellness with its latest menu launch, as it brings the GDK Doner Rice Bowl to hungry customers nationwide, across all 144 UK sites.

The new menu item comes from the rapidly growing GDK, which has become a leader in the UK food scene, redefining the kebab experience with high quality and ingredients. The leading high street restaurant has already kicked off 2025 with expansion news as it opened its first travel hub site at London Victoria Station, and the brand has plans for a further 24 launches across the rest of 2025.

GDK’s latest creation takes note of the popularity of rice bowls for lunch across Asia, North America and Europe, as foodies praise them for value, flavour and the nutritional benefits. The GDK Doner Rice Bowl will land in all GDK sites from 17 February, sitting alongside its innovative menu including a breakfast doner range and plant-based doner meat. The new addition also reconfirms the GDK commitment to a halal friendly menu, ensuring all ingredients and processes meet the required standard.

The new menu item also packs a punch in nutrition, with up to 58g of protein per bowl making it an ideal choice for those keen to embrace a healthier lifestyle.
