Little Baobab and Well Kneaded open at Peckham Levels

Peckham Levels is welcoming two new street food traders to its buzzing food hall. Senegalese soul food brand Little Baobab and sustainable sourdough pizzeria Well Kneaded are both launching this month.
Chef Khadim Mane of Little Baobab has been making waves in London’s African dining scene for the last five years. The menu will feature Senegalese favourites, including popular street food snack fataya and the sweet-spicy-tangy comfort dish chicken yassa.
Well Kneaded, meanwhile, crafts seasonally-changing wood-fired sourdough pizzas, salads and side dishes. Launched back in 2011, this will be its second permanent venture south of the river following the 2018 opening of its neighbourhood pizzeria in Earlsfield.
Preston Benson, founder of Really Local Group, which runs the team behind Peckham Levels, said: “Khadim of Little Baobab has already started to make a name for himself on London’s African food scene and we can’t wait to give him a platform to showcase his talents to the Peckham community. Well Kneaded really mirrors the socially-conscious underpinning of our building through the mentoring it does with youths residing in south London communities.”
