Chipotle opens 15th UK outlet in Twickenham

Chipotle Mexican Grill has opened a new site in Twickenham, its 15th in the UK. The outlet, which is a 15-minute walk from England’s national rugby stadium, is only its second restaurant to open outside the central London area.

The fast-casual chain is the only company of its size that owns and operates all of its sites globally. It is growing in popularity in the UK, even earning the top trending dish in the UK in 2022, according to Deliveroo's annual report.

It serves burritos, bowls, tacos and salads, made with real ingredients and no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. Guests visiting the new location will also be able to experience its new menu item, Chicken Al Pastor, which has just launched globally.

“Given the rising popularity of Chipotle across London, our expansion in the area remains a top priority for our international strategy,” said Jacob Sumner, Chipotle’s director of European Operations. “This new location will increase the Twickenham community’s access to real, fresh food.”
